Over the Moon- Chicago

Whilst working for Continental Bank London, Michael had made many visits to Chicago, but I had not had the pleasure of going there. I promised myself that one day I would call on Chicago to see the appeal it held for him. I was over the moon when Howard, his ex-colleague invited me to spend some time there with the promise of showing me the places that Michael had been to. The attraction was immediate, my time there was poignant yet fun. The "Cows on Parade" all along Michigan Avenue kept the smile on my face and meant I could stop and chat with strangers with no inhibitions. 

I have taken artistic licence in "moving" the Hey Diddle Diddle cow from its location and placing it before the London Guarantee Building. My choice of this building is largely because of its name. I used to work for the Morgan Guarantee bank, initially in Singapore and then in London. It was through them that I made my first trip to America in 1979 and became an Americophile.
